• Is there a registration fee to attend? Registration is $300.00 per individual. This will be billed after October 1, 2023.

• What does the registration fee cover?

  • Rooming for the entirety of the event.

  • Opening reception.

  • Opening dinner

  • Two coffee breaks

  • Closing brunch

  • Resort activities*

    *Not all resort activities are covered by the registration fee and must be covered by the individual. A complete list of activities are available on the VENUE page.

• Is this event free? There is a Registration fee of $300.00 per individual. This will be billed after October 1, 2023

• Will there be an airport shuttle?

  No. You will be responsible for getting to and from the airport and resort.

• Is this an official event?

  Yes, this is an official event! Expenses are covered by the appointment.

• Are meals provided? The only meals that are covered are the ones listed in the registration fee above. All other meals are at your own expense.

• What are the rooming options?

  On the registration form, there will be three options available for you to choose from when it comes to rooming. 1) You can choose to room by yourself, (2) With one other roommate, or 3) with 2-3 roommates. There is a limited amount per option and will be assigned on a first come, first serve, basis.

• Can I choose my roommate(s)?

  Yes! Please communicate with the individuals you’d like to room with and list their names on your registration application.

• Can I room by myself?

  Yes you can! However, sign up quickly because there is limited availability for single-resident rooms.

• Is there any free time?

  Yes, there is ample free time from lunch through dinner AND after the evening session on both days.

• Is there a schedule or brief I can download on my phone? Yes there is! You can download the Flourish Retreat brief on the Retreat Details section of this site.

• What is there to do during free time? The better question is, what is there NOT to do? From walking on the beach, to paddle boarding, to shopping - there are endless amounts of activity and relaxation to go around!

• Do I need to pack my uniform? Uniforms are not required at this retreat.

• What do I need to bring?

  Your bible! “Florida business casual outfits”, a journal and writing utensils, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal hygiene products, and YOU! Towels, bedding and sample-size bathroom products will be available at the resort.

• What is Florida Business casual? We can imagine the stress that may come with not knowing what to wear, especially when you are typically spending 80% of your time wearing a uniform. No need to stress - we’ve got the internet to help us! All you need is a little inspiration.

WHO

• Are all women officers able to attend? The invitation is extended to ALL ACTIVE women who serve as Officers, Auxiliary Captains, and Sergeants in the Southern Territory.

• Is this event required? No, this event is not mandatory. However, we hope you will be there!

• Do I need approval from DHQ to register for this retreat? All Divisional Leaders are aware of this event and grant approval for registration and attendance. However, any policies in place regarding rental cars or airfare will need to be approved through normal divisional protocols.

WHAT

• FLOURISH is a 4-day retreat specifically curated for women who serve as active Officers, Auxiliary Captains and Sergeants in The Salvation Army Southern Territory.

• FLOURISH is intended to be a time and space for women Officers to be poured into, get connected in a community with other women, and to find rest.

• The heart of FLOURISH retreat is to help women officers experience a deep restoration so that they may accomplish all God is calling them to do within their ministries and within their families.

Whether you’re taking a prayer walk on the beach at sunrise, or connecting with other women Officer’s around an evening bonfire, we know you will leave this retreat rested and renewed.
